CoastalWx
would not surprise me with HP trying to nose down into ME at times...could be onshore flow/seabreeze type of thing too Seabreezes are fine with me...it's the cloud cover that goes along with it. Today is a prime example.

Nice bright-banding in the Champlain Valley. Hopefully we can pick up a couple inches at elevation for ChrisM tomorrow... upslope flow and some wrap around moisture. Tropopause_Fold
Wonder what that might mean for the next couple of days. not sure. the NAM cloud products actually showed the cloud deck eroding almost exactly as it's doing, so i guess it's not too surprising. i just thought it would hold on better. the flow becomes more dominant from the NE later on so it should push back toward evening. ChrisM
Just went on a shorts only run with the dog. Didn't even mind bearing my winter fat for the two cars that drive down my street every hour. Just too nice outside. From 70 and sunny today to some powder turns tomorrow? Currently 60 here, maybe we'll kiss 70 for a third straight day. CapturedNature
I'll be the judge in West Hartford. Considering Ginx and Kevin annoy me about equally on the board I'll be a fair picture taker. I can be a judge for N CT if needed. Nobody really annoys me and I drive between the NE Hills and the CT River Valley almost every day. Nobody knows me from Adam either....fully neutral. I think it's going to be interesting to see what comes out when given that we really didn't have any prolonged cold this winter. I personally don't see anything coming out in my travels and I think that things would have to be in full swing now in order for things to be in full bloom on 4/15. The oaks take a long time to grow and those aren't usually full out till late May and I don't think we are that far ahead of schedule.
ineedsnow
66.7 not a bad say here.. On a side note and something I didnt even think was possible one of the branches that fell in my yard in October now has buds on it.. How does that even happen? CoastalWx
Still waiting for the pics of the fully bloomed Forsynthias. It's probably just buds with a hint of yellow and also...located right against the building which radiates the heat from the sun.
ctsnowstorm628
Still waiting for the pics of the fully bloomed Forsynthias. Even if they are fully bloomed (yellow), they;re always the first to bud. Every spring everything still looks dead and then there's the awkward bright yellow forsynthias everywhere.

Collinsville
March 14th... snow drops have gone by, crocuses are going full tilt, daffodils coming up, tulips coming up, hostas just starting to emerge, various small shrubs with hints of new growth, bitten by a mosquito on the 13th, Black Bear chillin' in the yard early this morning, robins galore, a few peepers were heard last evening. All this is a little much for March 14th!
ski MRG
Leaf out usually means a majority of the trees are leafed out. You mentioned April 1st. One sick little tree under a sodium vapor street light in an urban heat sink does not constitute full leaf out.

weatherMA
Absolutely incredible day. It really doesn't get better then this. 62.6/30, brilliant sunshine and not a cloud in the sky. Amazing. Feels like early May and looks like early April. The last snow bank that was hanging on the corner of the street melted last night. The only place left with piles around here are the huge parking lot piles.
