We didnt get any snow in April 2001, but the snow cover was like 30 inches on 4/1, lol...and it lasted until after mid month...not just the shaded areas either...the open exposed areaswere totally snow covered through mid month.

Hey when Iwent to SUNY Albany in the mid/late 80's it was running 1500 or a bit less per semester tuition. I commuted so no room/board.

SUNY Oswego will only cost me around 20,000 but if I was to go out of state it would be 40,000 and that is something that i just cannot afford to do, it is insane how expensive it is to go to college.

Who records precipitation in thousandths of an inch?

Its a trace...but since it has to go in numerically in the data program, it goes in as .005, its not uncommon to see it when gpoing through data that is generated by computer.

You remind me of wiz in that picture. Don't let it scare you.

Lol, I was definitely a toothpick back then at age 15. Funny thing about that pic is that coat I'm wearing was the first winter I had it...still wear it to this day...been my winter coat for 15 years.

100% correct--sure right on the immediate, (and I mean within 1/2 mile) shoreline, it's chillier...but when BDR reads 60, most of us are 5-8 degrees warmer easily. So I laugh when they say "cooler at the shore" Unless you are right there on the beach, it's not really that much cooler... We cracked 70 both today and yesterday and I'm 3-4 miles inland from Fairfield Beach

-

BDR is a horrible indictor of the area's true temps....sits out on an airport strip on a pensula that juts out into the sound...same thing in the summer, the high there is 82, the rest of the area is 88-90 half the time.

Yep I'm 3 miles inland in westbrook and we are atleast 5F warmer than the beaches. Usually 8F

Chances are that if a person has a bad experience, they are most likely to write a review about than someone who had a good experience.

The only one that I know a lot about is SUNY Oswego, and they are your typical SUNY school(disorganized, but a decent education for your buck)

Lyndon State I have herd many bad reviews about.

I go to Lyndon now. No complaints here, outside the rural nature of the school.

Very very good program. I was deciding between Plymouth and lyndon and chose Lyndon because they have a brand new met building and their undergrad just seemed more organized. Plymouth seemed focused on the grad stuff when I was inquiring.

:lmao:

Yeah but it's current weather versus sitting naked looking at past blizzard pics lol

I've seen that picture of the minivan more than I've seen the Mona Lisa.

Impressive line of storms cutting through 2 states and another one offshore and we're talking about blizzards in a heat thread. I think some people here need to take a vacation to Pete's neck of the woods...probably snowing there tonight.
