CoastalWx
Who thinks that? Some of us just don't see a return to winter cold and snow that some are advertising. Nobody is saying winter cold. Just back to more normal. Normal also means wider swings in temps.
ctsnowstorm628
Oh, no I wasn't lol. That's why I was lost, because it was obvious Scooter was kidding. Lol it's cool. Choose a school yet?

Mr Torchey
This is the worst time of year except that it's a month+ early. There is nothing more depressing than the drip of melting snow. Drip drip drip. It's like Chinese water torture. Thank god Ullr will deliver us from this evil soon. Pete, what is the earliest you remember MRG closing? ctsnowstorm628
No doubt this has been brutal. There's still snow but it's been hammered the last 48 hrs. I only took one pic today of the old work truck. The other one was from late march last year, Where the hell is that? Quebec? lol

I dunno dude..I've seen alot of talk about a major trough buckling into the east, calls for snow event(s) in the March 26-29th timeframe..Mrg posting how there's still several more snowstorms on the way..things like that. I don't see anything like that at all. By April 1..normals are in the 50's

ski MRG
Pete, what is the earliest you remember MRG closing? Probably the last week of March. My birthday is 4/20 and I have spent many of them at MRG including powder days. I took my first swings of the golf clubs today. I was down in Gt.Barrington meeting an excavator and blaster, while we waited for them to show up my buddy and I hit a few old top flites around. I hope you're practicing. It could mean anything from 50F NW winds, cold murky wx...or even a chance for snow like Will said. Nobody is saying 30F temps or 2' of snow. But, at 1000' in the interior...obviously any troughing is good. While I wouldn't expect it...I would not be shocked if the interior got one last shot of snow at the end of the month or beginning of April. ctsnowstorm628
The grass finally broke through today here on the LSC webcam. This baseball field is on the northern slope of campus. It took a huge snow hit today. Depth officially below 1" for sure. Only patches left here at 1,100ft. High was 59F with dew in the upper 40s all day after the rain we received this morning. Just being real with myself is all Right, we are all realistic. It may not happen, but when you have troughing in the northeast..it certainly should make people in the interior raise their eyebrows. That's all we are saying. If people are locking in snow, then that is their fault.
