Glenn talked about this during the early evening newscast today as well, and also showed some weather maps and footage. A retired NWS meteorologist from Mount Holly was interviewed. It was nicely done I thought.

Yup sounds like a repeat performance. He interviewed Jim Eberwine and had h5 maps and everything.

My Grandparents had a house in Beach Haven LBI at that time, my grandfather took pics from Beach Haven & Atlantic City following that storm. DEC 1992 was a more intense storm however the duration & coinciding with the spring tide made this truely the storm of the century for the central & southern NJ coast. Reportedly 45,000 homes were either destroyed or severely damaged in NJ alone.

1st series of pics are from the Maine & Boardwalk area of AC, north side on the inlet with Brigantine. Hackney's was a world renowned seafood restaurant back in those days, a huge block long restaurant the could accomodate 3200 people. Link below is what it looked like prior to the storm.
