Mods, move it if you must. My co-worker is launching a forecasting/social networking site for meteorologists. There will be an ongoing forecasting competition which will include special events. I'm getting some display errors, but will check it out at home, as I might be having some firewall issues. 3. In terms of forecasting standings, wouldn't it make sense to standardize the errors so that temperature and precipitation errors could be comparable (in standard deviations or fractions thereof)?
