felt like top 5 coldest day of the year for daytime high here

last 3 days were mid to upper 30's here-coldest stretch of the winter by far...today was supposed to be p/s and 45...so much for that. Looks like we're starting to rise with S winds kicking in at the present time. still holding at 35 here

Still only 30 here. What a wintry day..lol. My ride home was mesmerizing with the snow on the trees, further north. Had to take it all in and risk accidents since lord knows when I'll see it again.

LOL 34 here currently. Last night when it finally turned over to snow I just stood watching, wondering if it was going to be final flakes I see till next winter. New truck and plow FAIL :axe:

There's actually some flurries coming down here now..The kids can walk on top of the snow and not fall thru..so maybe I can salvage some tomorrow

The 12z ECM still has extreme warmth in New England from Wednesday-Friday of next week. It brings a cold shot next weekend, but then we start to warm again as mild air enters the Plains with a -PNA. I think climatology argues for a modified arctic airmass compared to what the Euro shows for next weekend, and large positive departures from Wed-Fri followed by more warmth in March's 2nd week should give us a decent warm anomaly for the month. Not seeing any signs of a huge cool-down, still looks well above normal despite the posts here.
