Logan11
Pete's snow cover will survive today, but I don't see how it survives next week. Not saying that with glee ...just the facts...... Incredible. But for now, the euro probably ends as an hour or 2 of snow. Pete will get 1.2" and claim winter's still hanging on.

Logan11
The main downside to this from you horticultural perspective might be that devastation could befall the fruit orchards in April if they all go into blossom too early and then some "normal" 20's occur one April morning. Places like the Hudson Valley apple orchards could be toast for 2012. The 12z gfs has 300 straight hours that the 0c 850 line does not get to Boston starting late Saturday evening. Mr Torchey
did you get banned from Eastern for being annoying? I enjoy you and scooter trolling me non stop, its fun. I guess if I was talking about the slight chance of snow squalls tomorrow night it I would be liked more, as any talk of warmth is pretty much frowned upon. I am sorry I did not get blasted with se winds with temps in the 40s as you wished the other day. If you have an issue Phil, pm me, I dont personally attack anyone here, if you dont like my love for warmth and beautiful spring time weather that i post about in a BANTER thread then put my on ignore. Have a good day.

Tropopause_Fold
I actually found that post somewhat entertaining lol it would be entertaining if this was the first time he thought of writing something like that. i was actually reading back through posts from last year to find some stuff and came across some of his schtick from last spring...and he was writing the same garbage 10 months ago. 10 months! he's been doing this everyday for 10 months!! that's about 300 days. and of course it's all he knows how to do...so i figure...i don't know maybe 10 posts/day by joe...X 300 days...that's 3000 posts ---- all of them, all 3000 of them, exactly the same as the previous one! he might be borderline retarded. codfishsnowman
i wonder if the more southerly component vs true south west will keep bdl from going over 70. I think the wind needs more of a westerly component. While the ssts are incredibly mild for this time of year they are chilly enough at these speeds to produce a mild marine influence. Just my opinion.
ctsnowstorm628
Lol th is thread is entertaining. 55F and real "cloudy" conditions here. Snow is down to only banks at 750ft with 2-4" hanging on at 1100ft.

ORH_wxman
good thing we didnt have much snow this winter if the euro is right.. That would lead to some good flooding any other year when we actually have a snowpack There isn't much rain though so I don't think flooding would be a big issue even if there was deep snow pack...you normally want warm dry weather to melt off snow pack rather than mild wet weather. LOL calm down. Down to 65/46 here so we will fall short of 70F. Still an all out torch though, low of 43/high of 66. The high should be around what the low was. I think the average high this time of year is 43 actually.

CT Rain
If the Euro is right I think many ski areas are going to have to close very early this year. Not the kind of March you want to see after such a dreadful season.
weatherMA
Does the euro have like 30s for lows and near 75F for highs? Or is it like an all out torch for a few days with like 52/78 June weather? The first option would be incredible in itself and could put up a string of +20 days...but option two could literally put up +30 departures.
