Ginx snewx
Nam is pretty cool looking with the anafrontal precip, looks like the mtns should have a 5* weekend.... Everyone has ignored every post I made about snow, it's like they just skip over the next three days up there. Looks like when the upper level comes its squally as heck, anafrontal might be weak as usual for them.
snowNH
No snow at UConn but my parents said the pack is holding quite well at home. You sound like you want snow on the ground. Why the hell would you want snow on the ground? Its freaking 50 out.
Ginx snewx
I like how it has green and blue colors, oh and how it had the blue lines and and red lines. Biggest storm of the season and you were MIA, you are the new Jerry. Please let us know your vacation schedule for next winter. TIA

How in the Sam Hell does stating that my parents have snow at their house insinuate that I want snow on the ground? That's like saying that I want to go for a drive because my brother has a car. What. lol

All winter the doom sayers have focused on the negatives while Winter fun was within easy reach. I plan on wringing out every bit of fun I can over the next 6-8 weeks. I usually go into a depressed withdrawal period when the real end comes. I try to stay positive but honestly if Winter never ended that would be fine by me. nzucker
Made it to 54F here in the Monadnocks, 2-3" snow remaining but bare ground showing on the south side of buildings. Sky is clear but temperature still at 48F.

N. OF PIKE
I wanted to throw my TV through the wall from ABC News this evening. Of course the warmer winter was blamed not only on climate change, but apparently we as humans too. So all weather from this point on is a result of AGW. The reported also was live in Denver and said "Even though it is snowing now, yesterday it was 70 degrees.." You fooking moron....it does that all the time there. It's maddening. that's the magic of psychological propoganda "warfare" whatever. repeat the same thing over and over ....throw in some emotional hot button issues leveraged to associate with it (enviormentalists...who know GW is too big not to have on their side) so they will be emotionally biased to support it staunchly going forward ..label any criticism of it .(wether legit or not) ...as a "denier" or something with a negative connotation. have some 'expert' or credible source speak and legitamize it...the masses will swallow it up. tried and true formula and the magic of it is you can now take something as normal as changeable wx conditions in denver and link them as cause and effect ....you can link it to any sort of deviation from the norm in wx or even regular deviations from the norm. 50 in cambridge ..... Cold Miser
I know. I have never done it. Hardcore people (can't think of any...) do it. You attach a stretchy material that prevents backsliding and you chuff your way up the trail like a x-c skier. Not sure if it can be done with regular boots/bindings, though. I think you need the AT rigs (all-terrain?) like Petey uses Could see this being very uncomfortable.
NECT
If you ever get the chance, try Regaefest a Sugarloaf. What fun... Spring skiing at Okemo is also great I try to get to SL the week AFTER reggaefest. If I were a lot younger, I may have a different opinion. Don't get me wrong, the snow can be awesome in mid-April, but I'm past the age to enjoy being elbow to elbow with thousands of drunk guys.

HIPPYVALLEY
If you ever get the chance, try Regaefest a Sugarloaf. What fun... Spring skiing at Okemo is also great I endorse this notion. It's nuts, nothing like it despite all the other so called regaefests and they are (generally) one of the last places in NE with decent coverage that time of year. B'East in the morning for me, better get there early cuz' it's gonna' be mashed potatoes by noon.
