Yep, just a few miles makes a huge difference. BDR only got to 52F and you got to 56F...Scooter doesn't think you hit 60F tomorrow I think you have a good chance, personally. It all depends on the wind, sw im ok south or southeast forget it, but I dont care I will be in north stamford and weston working tomorrow and it will roast roast roast inland. Yeah, BDR obs at the airport is about ten miles east of here, and its on a sandbar completely exposed to the sound, I am surprised they got that warm to be honest. dendrite
It was cutely predictable to log on this afternoon and see the obvious posts from the usual suspects on each side of the spectrum this afternoon. The Euro modified the Saturday cold shot a bit this afternoon, but did introduce the expected possibility of a brief backdoor here and there. Overall, this will likely be a well above normal stretch for the next few weeks and denying it won't make it any cooler. I suspect that in these EC ens means of 50s/60s everyday that we probably average somewhere around 60F over the interior with a sneaky 40F backdoor and a couple days of 70s scattered in there to counter each other.
