cheetah440
My buds missed only one week of golf since March last year, unreal, bring on something that never left? I know, I've played more winter rounds this year than the last 10 combined.
Amped
Not going to be as warm as H5 heights and 850temps would indicate with the high over New England. Torch will be west of the mountains. However there still won't be any snow.
Logan11
A lot of back doorish-ness on the 0Z GFS deep into the run. The position of that trough in the Gulf of AK is kinda far west to favor ultra-mild air in SNE. Not going to be as warm as H5 heights and 850temps would indicate with the high over New England. Torch will be west of the mountains. However there still won't be any snow.
Logan11
Nice CMC run... Big high to the north early next week, ice threat and even cold enough for some snow in central/northern NE. This isn't just a back door front for BOS in late spring style.
Logan11
No snow, but -16C 850 temps with this late week trough on the Euro isn't too bad.
Ice Warrior commander
Nice 3/4 moon shining off my 2" snowcover on this March 6th. Looks more like winter than all the MET months here. P.S. The snow is dense and crunchy as well.

ski MRG
7/4, There will be no embracing of the 'torch'. As with most "torches" here in New England it will under perform and all those looking to break out the speedos will be sorely disappointed. LOL at Amped andd his pathetic attempts to troll. Very poor effort.
Damage In Tolland
I think it's funny that year after year people get tricked into thinking Spring has sprung. There will be more snow, oh yes, there will be more snow. Even your area is likely done with anymore snow..sad but true

ORH_wxman
ORE made it down to 4F...pretty good for this winter in March. Nothing compared to the Mar 2007 cold spell we had, but still pretty impressive before the torch comes.
snowman21
skips over the high of 57 on Thursday LOL skiMRG will probably be warmer than some of us just outside NYC depending on which way the wind blows. A low of 35 with a chance of a rain or snow shower is not remarkable at 1300 ft that far inland in early March. It says more about the spring-like pattern we're in than anything else as that kind of forecast is a good month ahead of schedule.
