You keep spewing LIES, read the first post bro.............MARCH 7 was the day the torch arrived, but you always do that, you did the same thing in the 10 days of hell fire shall rain down upon theeeee.  No gate to gate from this weenie Steve, but nice try.  Enjoy the fire.

You better look back at your Feb posts bro. I am just so very happy there is so much exciting weather to talk about. You should be able to post hundreds and hundreds of posts about how nice it is. The complexity of warm day forecasting is unbelievably overwhelming, so many factors to consider, great stuff.

Well i said after Saturday..

that would be nice...but i can't imagine how low the probability is of that happening. even at BDL which becomes your new measuring stick (by-the-way, you should change your obs from ORH to BDL now) that would be an unbelievable feat i think. maybe snowman21 could look that up for us.

even 3/10 which was a TORCH (+7 at BDL) there were 5 days with highs below 50F from the 15th onward.

man...i know 2010 was mild...but you almost forget how ridiculous it was .... look at this stretch mid-month of march at BDL:

yeah i know.

i noticed this morning that some of the maples out here already have those big red buds on them. it's sick. when you look up at them all you see is that reddish hazy hue that kind of makes it hard to make out the individual branches. the next 10 days are going to make everything go nuts. there's already daffodils blooming in south-facing protected spots too.

i wonder if that garden across the street from scooter's house ever died. i remember he posted a picture from like christmas time or something and all the flowers were still in bloom. they are probably picking tomatoes already.

this sucks.

LOL, they died, but already bulbs coming back up. Even the sunny side of lawns are having the grass green up a bit.

I think it's hilarious that KCHO had more snow than me this winter

I doubt it... Backdoor alert in that time frame...at least Monday/Tuesday.

Part of the reason the ECM doesn't dig another trough into NE next week is it's wacky movement of the closed southwest low to North Dakota! That looks bizarro to me.

Sunday, Monday and Tuesday look perfect next week. Everyone reaches 70. Lock it in.

Yeah I think people need to get reminded of what seabreeze and backdoor means. While the front could stay north, in general you want the front to align WSW-ENE with a strong pressure gradient, you want widespread warm temps.

Two weeks ago I noticed the maples had burst like that up to about Richmond, VA ...on my road trip to/from FL. So I guess you are lagging a little behind them. I thought that was about a month early for the NC area.

yeah i know.

well it's not all of them by any stretch - and it's just a select type of maple. i don't know the specific breed but they are the same ones that are traditionally "early"....just never this early.
