Yep. Take away the October storm and I have about the same total as Rick. I know you guys think I slant stick or something but it's not the case. I've had snow cover all Winter albeit nominal for here. WxmanMitch probably has a total in the upper 60's or low 70's.

Not quite but close. I'm presently at 64.3" for the season, sans October it's 37.5". The 37.5" since October is only a little over 50% of our average snowfall to this point, which is pretty bad for this area. It's all relative.

Seasonal average is 77". All it would take is one big event or two moderate events between now and the end of the season for me to hit average, but with the upcoming torch on the models, I'm not overly optimistic for the next 8-10 days. Most of the stuff since October is from small events and upslope situations. The storm this past week was really the most significant synoptic snowfall since October.

Even deep in the woods here there are some glacierized snow patches from earlier in the winter. I could definitely see how has Pete has some of that stuff in his evergreen glen.

That's pretty close to what I thought you'd have, just a bit less. Without the Oct bomb we'd both be bumming.lol

If I had some snow left in a grimy patch in the woods I'm sure I'd roll around in it or something to impress you.

Nothing but beautiful pristine snow here in the woods and fields. It must be weeks and weeks since you have had any snow cover at all. It must be tough to get a little snow only to see it vaporized the next morning. Maybe next year you'll manage to have snowcover for a week or two. Good Luck!!!!

There is no official or even semi-official site at my location so I extrapolate based on those nearby at similar elevations. You really might have better luck on these forums if you didn't automatically question everyone's snow totals all the time right off the bat.

I've never questioned anyone's totals except yours. You supply no pics of your snowy claims. I have followed Oakland's weather forecasts this Winter and I haven't seen a lot of snow in the forecast but lots of 40's and 50's with rain. Also, I don't believe you live at 2700'. At best you have a vacation cottage at that elevation. Using that model I should report the snowfall at my property in AK for my totals. As for my 'luck' in these forums I couldn't care much less. Being banned from OT and now the MA sub-forums has little impact on me. My friends here in the SNE forum would be the only thing I'd miss if I were banned entirely. In anticipation of this eventuality I have exchanged e-mail addresses and phone numbers with them. I find the combativeness of the MA crew the manifestation of an inferiority complex when it comes to snowfall. Their inability to realize that any taunting I have done is all in good fun. LitchfieldLibations and I constantly go at it but we recognize it's only jocular humor and we are actually good friends. I'm looking forward to golfing with him in the coming months. Easy money. If only Randy and his band of sycophants had a sense of humor they'd realize my persona here as Ski MRG is a goof.

Using the model that has been applied to me I would think that Phineas should be banned from the SNE sub-forum. Personally, I wouldn't want that to happen as I think it's a ridiculous policy to ban people for harmless banter.

The problem is most of us don't want to read the passive aggressive jabs from both of you. Take it to PMs if you need to.

This thread will shortly become unreadable. Pete will talk about crusty snow under his evergreens, while Joe is posting sunshine emoticons while a 42F south wind howls through BDR. Wake me up in November.

42?? That would be one of the coldest days of the winter silly scooter. 60's and low 70s thur-fri, if you dont like that you have some serious mental issues. Winter is over, its sping, move on. If you forget about it a surprise will most certainly occur, I would love a foot of paste in a week, because I know its gone 3days later............the sun is strong, stay thirsty my friend.

Hey, I was just hanging out in the SNE banter thread on a Sunday morning chatting with my friends. Phineas did the drive by. There is a clear pattern of pesonal vendettas resulting in exceedingly harsh sanctions being placed upon me. I have never threatened anyone. I have never made racist, sexist or homophobic post. The fact of the matter is that I have participated in good faith and have made contributions with both obs and funds. I have participated in GTG's which further bolster the strength of AMwx. In short, I have never committed an actionable offense and yet I have been banned without cause.
