wxmeddler
LWX mention there was a cap at h7 in its morning AFD... so its probably why we haven't seen much development yet According to this: No cap, just low lapse rates and warm mid-levels. Although it isn't 17°C either so....

FrederickWX
Just for fun... this is my local Accuweather 14-day forecast, which will obviously change, but it is remarkable in that I don't ever remember seeing an extended March forecast looking quite like this one. The stability of this warm pattern from late fall through this early spring is pretty amazing, just for it's longevity and positive temperature anomalies. wxmeddler
How nice is it outside? If your a warminista, it's the best mid-march can offer. In other words, epic. It's a shock to your system when you step outside.

The one near Bowie is looking nice, probably even a sun shower.

PhineasC
This has been an amazing torch since the fall. I figured it would fade in the spring but it continues. If we see these kind of departures in the summer we'll all be cooked by August. Today was great, though. I spent a few hours just wandering around outside. midatlanticweather
Crazy warm! AC broke last year and I will need to replace it sooner than later! Temp in house rose to mid 80s yesterday, expecting MOTS today! Also, the Crabgrass is on the cusp of sprouting!! In Loudoun, my buddy Dave at lawndesignva.com will help if you need it - I am not just plugging him, you can put the stuff down yourself and should if you want to keep the crabgrass at bay, just sayin' if you do not have time, the time is upon us to get it down! So low to mid 80s today and tomorrow! Maybe I will fire up the slip and slide for the kids!
