EastCoast NPZ
Wincheser Regional reported high 77, but Wxbug here registered high of 85, and a local Underground site shows 84.
Jebman
Today's weather is more representative of late May/early June with a high of 81 degrees and a dewpoint of 62. Amazing our dewpoint is higher than the average high temp for this date. Even our LOW was warmer than the normal high temp for this date lol This summer is going to be so hot that the record books will have to be rewritten. I wish I lived on the beachfront - excellent fishing weather.

mattie g
Took the dog for a walk and saw flashes to the west. Came home to see there's a cell parked out in central Prince William County.
Disc
Just came back home and it sure is nice to be able to walk around in shorts and flip flops in the middle of March at 10:30pm. I've had my snow fix here in SW VA this winter. Let's keeps this warmth to stay and the snow away. (Snow weenies may kill me for saying that)
yoda
From evening update of LWX AFD (9:20 PM 3/22) 12Z GFS AND NAM GUIDANCE HAS THE UPR PORTIONS OF THE LOW PUSH OFF THE MID ATLANTIC COAST SUNDAY EVENING...WITH WRAP AROUND PRECIP ENDING THAT NIGHT. THE ECMWF GUIDANCE HAS NOT COME INTO OUR OFFICE SINCE MONDAY...THOUGH FWIW THE 19TH 12Z RUN FROM THE ECMWF IS PRETTY WELL IN LINE FROM THE GFS. How exactly does that happen? Wouldn't you just find it on another venue?
CranberryWX
Beautiful streak of weather this week on the western side of the Apps., sunny and hot with cool nights. CRW tied the record high today at 86.
snowfan
Fog didn't appear to be as bad this morning when driving into work. Only hit a few low areas where it was thick. That said, it sure feels juicy outside. Looks like we may get 2 nights early next week with lows dipping into the upper 30s....refreshing.

catoctin wx
Anybody want to venture a guess as to what might cause this kind of signal in temperature and humidity overnight? Interesting part is that there was no wind and lots of fog this morning. I live on the lee side of the Catoctin ridge. I'm a little stumped. http://www.wundergro...p?ID=KMDFREDE27

catoctin wx
Did other stations nearby report similar temperatures/dew points? The temperature and humidity range was basically the same, but none of them showed the wave pattern that mine did (or at least not as strongly). DCMetroWinston
77 here in Clarendon. I am so close to turning on the A/C. Also, where is the heavy yellow pollen coating? It has been warm for so long it seems like everything would be covered in visible pollen by now.

MN Transplant
Second 80 of the year. 77 here in Clarendon. I am so close to turning on the A/C. Also, where is the heavy yellow pollen coating? It has been warm for so long it seems like everything would be covered in visible pollen by now. My oaks have just started dropping their initial gutter-clogging parts, the maples aren't doing anything, and I guess the pines aren't doing much either (they make the yellow pollen as far as I know). WxUSAF
My oaks have just started dropping their initial gutter-clogging parts, the maples aren't doing anything, Odd...it's the complete opposite in my neighborhood. Maples are sprouting shedding crapola fast and furious and the oaks are still totally dormant. Different varieties of each in our yards?

MN Transplant
Our maples were active over a month ago, but they haven't resumed anything as far as I can tell. Upon further inspection, they do have little green tips coming out. DCA: 81, IAD and BWI: 80 81.0 here. Impressive that we can hit the low 80s in March w/o any wind at all. Nice in the shade, but if you are doing something active in the sun, it feels like summer.
