One thing i can't stand about warmer weather is all the bees and wasps, etc. I know it sounds silly but i'm scared of those things. When I got home a few minutes ago I had to wait 30 minutes just to go inside because they were just hovering over my front door forever.

Lol im sorry but this was hilarious. I used to do the same thing. omg lol.

Currently 84 and it just randomly rained just now for 15 seconds with nothing on the radar.

Doesn't take a lot to excite me, but I've been fascinated by this pattern of our showers and storms coming down from the North instead of the usual SW. Fun to watch on SAT imagery and radar.

Yesterday the forecast was for a dry week now MHX has us at 40% tomorrow and 50% tomorrow night and 30% on Thurs. We had a tiny warned cell just east of here had a 2.5" hail marker on it and I swear the storm wasnt 3 miles across lol.

If that cell to your north holds up it might get close to ya, looks like east Raleigh is gonna get get it for sure.....prolly some hail in it as well.

Summer began before St. Patrick's Day this year. I seriously hope there is a major pattern shift by the actual summer or we will almost be in literal hell

Eyewall. I was thinking the same thing. The most recent ENSO discussion, dated Mar. 19, states we will be entering ENSO neutral conditions in April. Long term, the graph looks to be a weak Nino through, at the very least, mid-winter. Nino conditions here in NE TN usually are tolerable for summer temps. Do you think the ENSO conditions change the pattern for summer or will it take the atmosphere until early fall to reflect the changes in the Pacific?

I am there with ya! Stepped in a yellow jacket nest after hurricane opal ravaged my yard...being swarmed from head to toe... And being stung in the head, hand and ankle...will put fear in ya of stinging things...had to get shots to get swelling to go down....mercifully that's all that happened....and that was because the folks cutting trees in the yard came running up and beat them off me.

Only thing we got was a heavy coating of pollen. Right now I'm sitting between 2 showers 3 miles to the SE of me.

edit: They merged right on top of me and are doing a fine job of washing the pollen away!

edit2: Just like that, .39" in the bucket in 75 minutes!

Got 0.16'' last night.

Big storm rolled through just E of here last night, saw a huge maple tree blown over and some bradford pear damage E of Mooresville on 152.Saw some fairly large dog boxes flipped over and damaged. Also some siding peeled back on a house.

Looked easily around 60 mph or more to me to do that.
