Looks like its done here. Saw a little bit of rain and a rumble of thunder. The Severe Thunderstorm Watch goes until 7pm. They are most likely going to trim the watch further to the east. I really don't see anything else on radar and it the skies are about to be clear here. Half of the sky is blue. Bigger threat looks to be in North and South Carolina.

CAE said they got some sprinkles today that added up to .05 :)

A total 100% screwjob here. I didn't even get 0.05, simply a trace. I had about 2 minutes of the lightest sprinkles you could have. This after the nam and gfs showed an inch or more here for several runs and ffc had 100, 90, and 80% percent pops per period, respectfully. One of the worst busts I've ever seen to be honest.

DISCUSSION...SUPERCELL TORNADO POTENTIAL MAY INCREASE ACROSS

PORTIONS OF SRN VA AND THE NC PIEDMONT OVER THE NEXT FEW HOURS AS

LARGE UPPER STORM SYSTEM SPREADS EAST AND COLD FRONT MOVES INTO THE

REGION. MODERATELY UNSTABLE AIRMASS WAS ALREADY SUPPORTING SEVERE

STORMS AND LOW LEVEL FLOW ACROSS THE WATCH AREA HAS BACKED TO MORE

ELY COMPONENT APPARENTLY IN RESPONSE TO 1) SURFACE PRESSURE FALLS

OVER WRN NC/VA...AND 2) WARM FRONT/OUTFLOW BOUNDARY BCMG BETTER

DEFINED FROM NEAR THE NC/VA BORDER SEWD TO THE NC COASTAL PLAIN.

STORMS MOVING NEAR THIS BOUNDARY WHERE LOW LEVEL SHEAR WILL BE

ENHANCED WILL HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO ACQUIRE STRONG LOW LEVEL

ROTATION. STORMS TRACKING NEAR OR ALONG THE BOUNDARY FOR ANY

SUBSTANTIAL AMOUNT OF TIME WILL ALSO POSE A THREAT FOR A FEW

TORNADOES. VERY LARGE HAIL WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE WITH

SUPERCELLS...ALONG WITH SCATTERED DAMAGING WINDS.

AVIATION...TORNADOES AND A FEW SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WITH HAIL

SURFACE AND ALOFT TO 2.5 INCHES. EXTREME TURBULENCE AND SURFACE

WIND GUSTS TO 60 KNOTS. A FEW CUMULONIMBI WITH MAXIMUM TOPS TO

450. MEAN STORM MOTION VECTOR 24030.

I've got a solid .1 for the last few days! After a rollicking first of the month, the pickings have been exceedingly, near invisibly, thin the last few weeks. Oh, well, you haven't gotten to rollick yet, so I have to count my blessings :) Tony

After the past few days of just getting sideswiped, this evening featured heavy rain, strong winds, constant lightning/thunder, pea sized hail, and the inability to watch my basketball game due to the satallite going out  Not sure how much I ended up with, but my part of my shed is up against some trees next to my house :( I'll post pictures tomorrow

I know that feeling all too well

Last night was easily a top 10 weather moment.

Hail is still out in the yard, piled up deeper close to the house where the wind blowed it in.Some bushes and trees looked stripped a little with blooms/leaves gone but not too bad.

You would'nt believe how cold the temps dropped in the height of it,it was down in the low 40's.Still cold out there with a heavy fog.
