moneypitmike
Ripping +SN here now with 1/4 mile visibility. Rapidly closing in on 2". Radar around here looks sweet as it almost looks like a NW-SE oriented deformation axis is setting up over this area. I wonder if I'll reach 6" from this first batch. That is a great looking band! Looks like its consolidating exactly on the pike/southward
Cold Miser
I wonder if the RUC had the right idea of strengthening this front end stuff as it moved into SNE...it looked so ugly on radar a while ago, but it seems to be looking a lot better as it moves in. The moderate rates have been pretty consistant here for more than an hour or so. .5"+ on the ground, and cars.

weatherMA
-SN since 11:50am. .2-.3" on the grass but nothing on roads yet with the light rates. HRRR gives 5" here with batch one. I'll take it. Down to 30.9F now so should start sticking soon when the better rates move in.

Ginx snewx
Just got home..snowcovered road. an inch OTG..Will post pics in a min Nice just got home too, about 1/2 , trees grass covered , road beginning to whiten up. I think i experienced a miracle, based on posts in the other thread by weenies and some who have graduated from College with degrees in Meterology, snow can not stick at 36 degrees, the sun angle will not allow accumulation, snow growth will suck.blah blah blah. Miracles do happen. Was great listening to WBZ AM on the way home Barry Burbank is pumped for about 9 inches in Boston 8-16 in the Mass hills, sweeet.
