CT Rain
The new NAM has close to .5" for Mt. Tolland between now and 10 AM...course doesn't mean it's snow. Yeah none of its snow. There's no solid burst to develop later. Oh well. Storm's over here.... was nice to see some flakeage.
ChrisM
Bro, it's pouring snow in Greenfield at 400', you're good to go tomorrow up there. Yep, not worried about snow...just hoping it's as steep as we anticipate. Our other choice is the N face at Mt Snow...steeper than that (aside from Ripcord)? Clinch Leatherwood
Yeah...3 or 4 more runs and it should have a firm grasp. LOL, SNH/SW ME/CNH all look to get smoked no matter what model you use though.
ski MRG
Hahaha well said Pete...I think you are a lock for 10-12 if you already have six. You'll be snowing harder than radar indicates too with low level upslope flow. Enjoy the backyard turns...headlamp tour in the snow tonight? LOL, you know me. I'm just heading out for a ski now that the kids are in bed. I thought you said BEast was steep.. lol It's steep, but they've groomed it all out for the holiday crowd last week. You'll have an awesome time Chris just be careful driving up. 27/26, moderate snow. See you guys in a while.
dendrite
LOL, SNH/SW ME/CNH all look to get smoked no matter what model you use though. If Ray ruins his futility chances and I get more snow than him he may possibly kill me.

CoastalWx
echoes don't look bad out west, I am not sure why everyone is freaking out, it's actually comical, same people acting the same way with every storm.. not you Jerry, I know it sucks to see rain but Scooter/Will and other said it could happen during the lull, so as Scooter said, everything still on track, if we wake up tomorrow and is raining then we are screwed. Basically the whole thing evolves around what happens late tonight and tomorrow. That's what I don't feel good about.
Tropopause_Fold
So... whats going on with RI? Can someone help me out? I wouldn't expect much the rest of the way. It's going to be tough I think
ctsnowstorm628
NAM cut back on qpf up this way...srefs looked to hold serve if not enhance qpf...looks to be exactly 0.50" on the NAM. With any ratio help, thats still a solid 4-8" up this way.
Logan11
Hey Boston people.... the NAM still has 1" of qpf falling there from here on out. I'm not sure why the continued futility talk. LOL It has .75" more here after 10 PM....and I have about 5" down so that would please me.

Logan11
I noted that the ocean temps of Fire Island and Montauk are running mid 40's. That's got to be well above normal so doesn't help your chances with any kind of easterly component. A lot of years the water is super cold now so it helps. ChrisM
Additional 1" QPF all snow for the Berks on the NAM...I think they squeeze out another 9-13 easy...12-18 storm total?

Hey Rick, we have always been liquid here outside of a couple hours of ice chunks this afternoon, I just find this entire evolution fascinating, and of course hoping things work out for those to my north and east.
