It won't be hard to tell if the GFS is right or wrong in the next 6 hours...just watch PA...it brings the WV convection almost straight E to ENE and gives only the far southern part of the state precip...the Euro amped it up much more.

Remember that post I said this morning? The GFS did exactly that. Hope it's wrong.

Well he left this part of the AFD out

PTYPE WITH THIS NEXT BATCH OF PRECIP SHOULD BE PRIMARILY SNOW N

OF THE PIKE WITH SOME MIXING WITH SLEET AT TIMES NEAR THE

PIKE...AND COULD MIX WITH RAIN ALONG IMMEDIATE E MA COASTLINE

INCLUDING BOS. THE MORNING COMMUTE WILL LIKELY BE A PROBLEM N OF

THE PIKE. SOUTH OF THE PIKE...WE ARE LOOKING AT MOSTLY A

RAIN/SNOW/SLEET MIXTURE WITH MAINLY RAIN NEAR THE S COAST.

Does that mean if your travelling west on the Pike its a problem but going east will be ok? lol

2.25" new (revised downward after a true measurement, had been guessing before)

Snow has come to nearly a halt in the Monadnocks now with just a few flakes falling from the sky. Temperature continues its steady decline since late morning but we haven't been getting the precipitation rates that Springfield and the Berkshires have seen.
