weatherMA
i feel like the 18z gfs is a toaster bath and hopefully wrong. It looked warm here but close. I'm riding the euro anyway so it doesn't really matter.

CoastalWx
Yeah you mentioned BL concerns. I hope so, a bit nervous with latest RGEM... I think you / Fella / me / others in Boston metro still are haunted by the Halloween freaksnow... hours and hours of snow that night, barely anything on the ground to show for it, whereas just a few miles inland accumulated well. BL killed us then. The next few hours are iffy, but Thursday morning is looking good. Yeah these holes aren't helping. That's the thing with this Storm. Nothing looked concrete and solid except for the WAA thump. Even tomorrows episode is not solid for us. We are depending on heavy echoes for us which is never good if you want heavy snow. Better inland and higher elevations where It will be cold. Hence me being a little conservative but BOX seems to agree too. Would be nice to have a positive bust for once. Clinch Leatherwood
Pathetic snowgrowth and rates to the east out this way. Slight coating on some surfaces but it's just anemic snow rates AIT.

Clinch Leatherwood
I mean snow in nyc and long island and sw coastal ct........this is two runs in a row now, just awful. I'm thrilled ski areas are getting buried, nowhere near as convinced as everyone else about totals in boston and metrowest. Lots of potential suck still. There's a nice coating in Worcester at Holy Cross http://www.holycross.edu/webcam/
#NoPoles
31.5 starting to get sporadic coatings on pavement...probably got about an inch on my rhododendron
SouthCoastMA
I mean snow in nyc and long island and sw coastal ct........this is two runs in a row now, just awful. The HRRR output gave me 3.5" imby eight hours before the 'storm' last week, and I ended up with something between a dusting and a coating. Terrible. ORH_wxman
It won't be hard to tell if the GFS is right or wrong in the next 6 hours...just watch PA...it brings the WV convection almost straight E to ENE and gives only the far southern part of the state precip...the Euro amped it up much more. Damage In Tolland
4-7 for round 1 is going to verify very nicely...and then we await round two..
OKpowdah
18z NAM and GFS show the SAME trend. More amplified / sharper wave ... stronger secondary cyclogenesis / tucked closer to the region. Adds notable accumulations tomorrow afternoon for NH and Maine.
