weatherMA
By 08z...the mid-levels are trying to cool again...on this run though it looks like Union could just squeeze into the 2nd round as mostly snow. Kevin might be swaying from the rafters though. Will, can you give a rough timing on the heavier part of round 2?

MJHUB
Grass is starting to cover, and dark spots in parking lot car covered as well. Commute should be fun its 45min without snow.
snowwoman
Still moderate snow and better snow growth it seems. Flake size is better and we are now up to a .5" of snow. Lost hope when temps spiked in the morning to 41 degrees, but has dropped to 33 degrees. Snow is really only sticking to everything but the roads which are just wet right now...] Ansonia, CT

ORH_wxman
Euro says I do rip again tomorrow morning..FTW Its a close call on the Euro....the wunderground snow maps aren't very useful because they often show snow where it would be sleeting. Lol... anyways doesn't that look like almost a deformation band setting up over central NY state? Juliancolton
That band coming into Sullivan and Greene counties in NY loops epic on radar. That could be good for an additional 2–3" for my area and CT if it holds together.

ORH_wxman
You guys are relentless, LOL. The downplaying by everyone but you yesterday was dumbfounding to me. Lol...I'm just telling him what it shows. I've been pretty optimistic on this one though its been a better bet for my own area for a bit longer, so its a little easier to be optimistic. I was dumbfounded by some of the pessimistic forecasts on TV though...like 1-3" here and nothing in BOS...one thing to be conservative, but another to totally write the event off. Rocket
Slick spots on roadways. Salt is going down. Rooftops, trees, grassy areas are white. Flakes are larger now. 31.9°F/30.1°F. I don't mind if the rain south of here pushes up this way. There'll be plenty to do in the daylight tomorrow.
