Your area looks nice for this.

This has a lot of the great stuff for his area...possible CF for a time there overnight...inverted trough to end the event tomorrow/tomorrow night that favors NE MA. Nothing will erase this garbage winter sans another 1997...but this storm is trying to give the biggest screwzone some payback it seems anyway...knock on wood.

Yeah it's a nice way to start the winter '11/'12 farewell tour. This is the event where I wish I lived on MQE, but I hope the rates materialize to help offset some warming in the lower levels. If something goes wrong, it's the second batch not having enough oomph, but I think for now..it looks good as progged.

I am getting excited for my area....but watch I will end up on the wrong side of the CF and be the infamous R+ and 33 while Ray gets his Celica Crusher :axe:

It's not like it will be a 20F temp difference. It will be weak, but the biggest difference will be temps maybe near 28-30 vs 34 or so. I think the difference will be larger tomorrow as the cold air moves south ans temps fall into the upper 20s across the area behind the front.

Coast is toast, but we knew that already. Guess this is how winter's gonna go out. Lots of 40s with dews 30-32 means game over, perhaps not even a trace.

Texas toast, I will say I thought we might see a sleet pellet or mangled flake to start.........most models started us with a little frozen, hope this is not a trend to the northeast.
