The 0z CMC came much closer to the NAM's western scenario, but still this is the most that came out of it:

Regardless of whether NYC gets precipitation or not, it will be interesting to see if the NAM/CMC are actually onto something... both models aren't very great in terms of accuracy but both still managed to nail the short range south trend on 2/24.

I don't know much about connections between the RGEM/CMC but when I compared the 12z CMC run and the source of the previous image for the 12z run, they're almost identical. I would assume that the RGEM has a better resolution than the CMC but again I don't know much about the specific details.

0-48 is the rgem and then the rest is the ggem.
