Jonbo
some impressive photos from henryville: The bus being shoved into a home along with the engine essentially yanked out of the bus is a heckuva testament to the power of the tornado.
NavarreDon
It's on the ground now. The NWS Birmingham office dual-pole radar has a significant correlation coefficient that specifies debris in the storm structure. The guesstimation is either an EF2 or stronger because of this. Bravo to TWC & Dr. Greg Forbes for mentioning this and explaining it.
SouthernNJ
Paul M. Grist State Park, as well as Plantersville and Jones are in the path of the likely strong tornado in AL. The park was hit by a tornado just last year. Could be a giant amount of trees in the vortex after moving through the park. This is a Life-Threatening situation, even in rural AL because there are a lot of mobile homes in the area, which could lead to a lot of injuries very quickly without even widespread damage. Amped
West Liberty looks bad but not EF5 bad, probaly more like EF3. Of course there could be EF5 damage in the woods next to West Liberty but it looks like the buildings were heavily damaged but not flattened. The Alabam cell looks impressive but the stuff to the south may shred it apart or the line to the north may absorb it. That looks like the last cell of this outbreak. SN_Lover
Here is some good news -> the number of tornado warnings has gone down to 4 from the 20's at a time earlier. BUT nighttime tornado's are the worst because you can't see them, so don't let your guard down till watches are cancelled.

I was just taking a look at that one too......definitely ramped up in intensity and does have some rotation with it. Have to watch it over the next 30 minutes. It's got a much tougher environment ahead of it though. Lots of crapvection with it but we'll see what happens.

OceanStWx
Skip Talbot's video of the Henryville, IN Tornado. Tell me that doesn't look a lot like the Tuscaloosa tornado of last April. Same sort of helicity values in the low levels, and you can get all kinds of vorticies around the parent circulation.

SouthernNJ
EMA confirming significant damage in Grist State Park. Now you see why I mentioned the park a couple of times before the thing hit. The tornado from last year that hit it was very brief and weak, but this one was not.
