Does anyone find it odd that there are no damage reports yet (that I've seen) with the N Atlanta metro tornado? I would have thought there would have been something by now, esp with the way KFFC is wording their warning...

Something just doesn't quite look right with that debris signature. The supposed signature is located in an area of low dBZ, which is the opposite of what you would expect. It was much more clear to the west, when it was near Yorkville.

I don't know. To me it is looking weaker. But that can change in 5 minutes.

Just heard from a coworker who lives in Johns Creek, he said they just had some rain, thunder and lightning, nothing major and he's a weather nerd as well so he would have noticed if something this bad passed over.

This has been a very difficult storm to track. From my view point, it looks

to have shown multiple circulations at times, and the strongest ones

keep changing positions. It looked to be powerful west of Dallas, but then

has continued to cycle around frequently.

Again two possible circulations, one near Flowery Branch, the other

moving for Braselton and Hoschton.

The southern part of the northern Atlanta supercell passed right over me and Dacula (he's a little to me SW). Wind picked up and has already shifted as the cell is now just off to our NE toward Braselton and Jefferson. It's driving me nuts that it wasn't daytime....those would be some awesome pics. When the lightning flashed, you could see the edge of the mesocyclone. Either weakened significantly or is cycling......definitely not as strong as it was over on the west side of Atlanta. Sorry, a little excited that it passed literally right over our neighborhood.....it's about 2 miles south of I-85.
