A-L-E-K
So which way do you think the band in E Iowa will move from here? individual echos will continue to move NE as the band itself slides ENE, things look on track for you.

Geos
Thanks, it seems the system is slowing down a tad from what was progged, is that correct? I just looked at Ch. 13's futurecast model. Whoah! 9-12" for Kenosha and just north of Waukegan! I've never seen that model before, but it lines up with the NAM's high qpf. http://www.wrex.com/category/161956/interactiveradar

HRRR trends are looking better as well, going to be close like the last time you and geos were nailed. I'd be cool with a period of +SN even if it doesn't really accumulate much. Either way, it's a pretty nice event to follow and if the snow gets boring, i can go watch some twisters.

Guess what model the GRR NWS is hugging????? Looks like 6" or so. Rockford's futurecast shows 6" at least just south of you. The data isn't shown for Muskegon on that model, but I would imagine at least 7" on that model if it went that far north.
