Circulation has moved off to the east. Didn't see anything in between lightning strikes, but a trained spotter saw a funnel cloud/rotation just a few miles too the southwest of Gate City next to the Tennessee line which is exactly where I'm at. No damage just tons of rain and lightning.

Close call here in Kingsport. Went just to our north - 1234snow in Gate City probably saw the worst in my area. NWS will be sending some folks up to SW VA to confirm twister damage tomorrow according to WCYB. What a crazy night. Heavy rain here.

Well it's not everyday you have 2 tornado warnings in one day. Reports of a roof blown off, storage shed destroyed, and tree limbs and some power lines down in Gate City. Nothing here across the mountain just had intense rain, lightning and some pea to quarter size hell. By listening to the scanner also sounds like some wrecks have occurred on I-81 but who knows if those were related to weather. It will interesting to see what the NWS finds tomorrow.

Would not be March 1st without a severe storm moving through Enterprise AL.

It has moved on to near Dothan at the present time.

Radar is now detecting some rotation in this storm, although I would

assume somebody in Dothan would have seen a wall cloud by now

if they were to upgrade the warning.
