Looks like we can start forecasting some amounts today. As of now you'd have to go with a widespread 8-12 combined from both systems and if we have to up that as we get closer we will

Fail. Fail. Fail. Haven't you learned anything this winter? This is winter 2011-2012.

One question. Will you have to snow blow 1-2" with that march sun angle?

Here's my forecast...

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 71.

Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 50.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 66.

Friday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 58.

Saturday: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 71. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

That was the nightmare. This is how this storm will fail for all of us. 2-4" from two days of light snow showers

Euro looks like crap

Euro south, strung out and blahhhh

LOL--I am having shades of this last "event". My 4:00p.m. zfp was calling for 4-8" and my p/c had 4-6. I wound up with 4 flakes until the tail end of the storm Friday night.

Thanks jynx ... I'm not even concerned about snow totals right now.. I'm more convened about weather (nyuk nyuk) my flight to Myrtle beach will leave on time or not.

530 am flight out of Logan, Thursday morning. I don't want any damn snow to ruin it.

Seriously though.. how much snow would it take to cancel flights? I'm not that famaliar with Logan.

You need sustained periods of SN+ for Logan to close. They almost always manage to keep a runway or two open unless it's whiteout conditions.

You and I both are staying emotionally un-invested in this. I end up with a snowless February if Wed. is a fail. Not really a record I'm interested in but historical none the less if it happens.
