Turtle-

Wouldn't worry much about it. GFS says more days to follow like this. With the wind, it isn't that great anyways. Des Moines is showing gusts to 40...i'm gusting to 30 here... Would go down to the park, but the wind will be right off the Mississippi and its 34F water... Better off waiting for a day with calmer winds. At least this will get rid of any remaining snow cover.

Indeed, GFS says spring is here. Might have a hard time getting any April snow at this rate.

12Z EURO is a Tropical dream next week!

Wow, no kidding! Euro wondermaps say low to mid 60s monday, then 70 Tuesday through Friday.

We've plateaued this afternoon around 67. The wind is ripping, but it has helped melt the rest of the snow fast and is also helping to dry the soggy ground.

Heck if the Euro is correct (likely overdone) then MBY ground frost will be gone by the end of next week & northern MI snows will be just a memory. :frostymelt::maphot:

How about this swing in Cedar Rapids

Monday low: 3

Tuesday high: 68

or this one in Marshalltown

Monday low: 4

Tuesday high: 71

That's the kind of swing you see in Denver and along the Front Range at times! :sun: Tomorrow probably won't be this warm with clouds and showers.

Threw open the window about an hour ago! Up to 63° now. Amazing temperature swing since yesterday.

From 12° low Monday morning to 65° now! +53°

Very impressive...another example is Gaylord MI (-17F yesterday morning, currently 42F...+59F change in 30 hours)

EDIT: just saw Cedar Rapids...crazy.
