If the nam is right for CT, epic busts could be in order for that region. Most maps I have seen still favor ORH north, but rain doesn't seem to be a big issue anymore.

Well Scott was looking for a model bust a la boxing day 2011, seems like he might get albeit not anywhere near the magnitude that storm was, but more the fact the models not really locking in.

Good Lord...I think the 0z NAM here could give me like 2'' of snow perhaps...although not sure how much QPF has fallen through 15z but soundings definitely cold enough through 15z then some sneaky warm air works in around 850.

New NAM keeps the heaviest of the first batch south of us, but brings it in enough so that we'd get a few inches. More specifically, I'm thinking 3-5" for Pete and I, 2-3" up by MPM. Batch two starts as rain, maybe some freezing rain on the east slope, before ending as brief burst of snow. We might get an inch or two from that, but we have a strong upslope signal for tomorrow night during CAA. Depending on how this transpires, it could bring several inches of additional snow for someone, especially N Berks, S Greens. Northern Greens are going to get smoked with wrap around and upslope.

I think 4-8" total by Saturday AM is reasonable. I'll be at MRG for most of this but it'll be nice to get home to groom the trails here. This is just what the doctor ordered.

We'll have to watch how that edge of the precip shield in srn Michigan and Lake Erie behaves. Any northward component helps out those north of the CT/RI border.
