GAME ON! Upslope is going to be absolutely nuts.

Today: Snow, mainly after 1pm. High near 30. Breezy, with a southeast wind 6 to 9 mph increasing to between 20 and 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.

Tonight: Snow. Low around 16. Windy, with a south wind 30 to 33 mph becoming southwest 21 to 24 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 10 to 16 inches possible.

Saturday: Snow showers likely, mainly before 3pm. Cloudy, with a high near 21. Wind chill values as low as -6. Windy, with a west wind 20 to 23 mph increasing to between 28 and 31 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.

looking at the radar you would think its coming down good here but its not

I think it may be an issue near I-90 but we'll see...at least in terms of how long it lasts. The best stuff is down in CT.That's been the trend since early evening yesterday, but you should grab that stuff west of the MA/CT border I would think.

There's some pretty decent dry air in the BL that this is overcoming...you'll prob have to wait until that 2nd band surges in from SE NY to get healthier snowfall...the first pulse is mostly for CT/RI.

Man its been a bummer without any storms this season... I really miss ORH's 24 hour analysis leading up to and during an event. Its great to read from a distance and makes going back through all the past storm threads really interesting.
