Just got home from a 45 minute drive east from Danbury under the heavy echos. Coming down at a pretty good clip but not much to show for it other than a few slushy patches in the grass. I'm at 525'. Maybe further north will do better.

That would be a bit of a drive from here and I just got home from work.

Actually the temp must have dropped over the last half hour or so because I now have a good 1/2-3/4" on the grass and even a little on the driveway. That heavy band is moving NE of me now but still coming down at a decent clip.

The radar is looking really nice....trhere is a nice tail to the band that extends back to near BGM with the stuff between the DXR band and BGM in between strengthening the last couple of frames.

I was just in southwest VA when they had 8 inches in an area where the prior day it has been 55+. It had no probs accumulatimg on all surfaces.
