After looking at the most recent model trends, it looks like Toronto should actually see mostly wintry precip tommorow. I think a decent band of snow will develop and should give about 2-4'' then go over to ice pellets/freezing rain and then just drizzle by the afternoon.

My preliminary thoughts for the GTA, I see atleast 2" almost everywhere and even by the Lake though I expect no more near the Lake. Areas away from the Lake I think a range of about 2-4" is a good bet.

and btw I got banned from accuwx forums Hahhaa, lol.

Can't argue with this. Could be the last snow of this so called winter. Enjoy it.

As of yesterday, Rhinelander had recorded 54.6" of snow this season. This morning/afternoon a report came out of 5" of snow reported just NW of the city. Add to that 12" or so expected with the brunt of the storm tonight into tomorrow, and Rhinelander will be well above their average (which remarkably is pretty close to Milwaukee and Madison's average.

After this one I'm going to pull my salter and return equipment back to the shop. No need to have it sitting on site where it can be messed with for no reason. EC is showing 5 snowflakes this weekend for the Windsor area..... First time this season!!!

For this system rain, sleet and broken dreams.

Citynews and Global are both saying 2-5cm. Seems a little low but who knows

lol. I don't watch City too often but I tuned in today. They have two wx presenters in the same broadcast? That's a first for me.

It's such a delicate forecast tomorrow. Things that could go wrong:

-models too cold aloft...thus quicker change to pl/zr.

-convection across the OV robs moisture transport, resulting in light qpf (rgem sort of indicates this)

-dry air eats away at a good 1-2 hours worth of pcpn, resulting in lower amounts.

If all three of those show up...2cm is probably a good bet. 2/3...5cm....1/3...7-10cm....0/3 maybe that RUC depiction looks good and 10-15cm falls. Very, very precarious situation tomorrow. I'm just spliiting the difference, going for 1.5/3 or about 5-7cm.

What does 5 snowflakes graphic mean? lol. Id say this winter there were only 2 snows that NEEDED plowing, but of course local contractors did parking lots much more than that. But Id say the salters were needed the most for all those nuisance snows.
