WxUSAF
http://www.slate.com/articles/technology/technology/2012/02/what_s_the_best_weather_forecast_why_you_should_use_weather_underground_.2.html Apparently they've been testing this for a couple years and just released it. They use about an order of magnitude more surface observations since they include personal weather stations and some NOAA stations that NWS doesn't use. The result is a hyper-local tailored forecast. They even rate recent high temp forecasts for their system and NWS. However, they are both "poor" for MBY apparently, which means more than 3.5C off! BestForecast for MBY today is 63F, NWS zones have mid-60s and point forecast is 64F. Anybody use this yet?
mappy
No. I'll glance at their forecast every now and again just to see what others have to say, but no... NWS will always be my number one go to for forecasts.

PSUBlizzicane2007
Including personal weather stations is risky...and introduces the likelihood of more error. Not sure how I feel about that.
famartin
Including personal weather stations is risky...and introduces the likelihood of more error. Not sure how I feel about that. There would need to be some kind of real-time spatial QC applied to the data which factored in elevation, bodies of water, etc.
