phlwx
6z NAM, not exactly the standard bearer of model accuracy, is giving Philly and South Jersey 70 tomorrow afternoon. Will say this...0z NAM has mid 60's for most of South Jersey at 18z Fri...so 70 isn't out of the realm of possibility if everything breaks right. Records at PHL and ACY are 74 and 75, respectively... Rainshadow
Pretty daunting record highs for Feb (the month, not our member).
Parsley
Clear out some of the clouds, crank up the WSW winds and hold on for the ride! GFS shows torch potential as well: 65-75 from PHL, east and southward.

Rainshadow
I have to check the short term......might be an opportunity to swing the clubs..... We're going out later today. Tombo has me golfing for the Euro fantasy storm next week, all we have to do is break par for it occur.

iceman56
I'm shocked you even have snow pack. My snowpack is 4 four piles around the deck that are shrinking rapidly.
Alpha5
Thats what cloud cover can do to temps. Impressive gradient. Below freezing in the Catskills, 70's in central jersey.
JCT777
I'm shocked you even have snow pack. I think he's referring to Blue Mountain. Any skiier in this area would be bummed about temps in the 60's, if they are hoping to do local skiing into at least early March. I'm at the point where I'm fine with the warm temps if it isn't going to snow.
greg ralls
Agreed. If we aren't going to get a snowstorm, just bring on the 60s & 70s and convective season. At least I can start getting back into tennis shape if I can't go cross-country skiing.

SP
Some places around us today are going to get their high of the day after the cold front moves through. How did you swing? I had meetings....squeezed in a walk at the beach.
Rainshadow
How did you swing? I had meetings....squeezed in a walk at the beach. I had a near career day shooting an 86. That's about as low as I can get. We decided to "match play", so a little less goofing around than usual. Plus its a relatively short, shot maker type course. Lastly its been dry of late, it was almost like playing a course in October. Every once in a while I remember to turn my shoulders for an entire round instead of for just a few holes. Far cry from last week when we were at Renault and stopped after 9 holes because of the wind and then the rain. Looks like you got some snow.
