turtlehurricane
MKX looks similar to Madison, just a little later.

Thunder Road
Surprised to find a coating this morning. Stuck to the roads and everything too. I mean only about an inch (on the grass), but still more than I was expecting.
Powerball
Everybody in Michigan is all snow so far. In fact, Ann Arbor is below freezing with 1/4 mile visibilities.
michsnowfreak
Was honestly surprised to open my shade to snow falling very nicely now, huge flakes, and sticking a bit. This is now day #37 with snow falling this season believe it or not (day #22 of measurable snow), but this ones lasting quality will be probably an hour lol. SpartyOn
Snowing cats and dogs. Nice rates too. 1inch per hour is a good guess. Too bad it will last for a massive 45 mins.
weatherpsycho
Nice surprise today. I haven't been paying attention to this system and now we are getting <0.5 mile visibilities.
michsnowfreak
Visib 0.25 mi at ARB and 0.5 mi at DTW. Very nice brief surprise. The forecast calls for rain possinly mixed with snow by afternoon. lol

Powerball
Dewpoints appear to be lower than forecasted, so wet bulbing is effectively doing the job. Most should still probably see some rain by the end of the day, even per the surprising cooler RUC.

SpartyOn
This likely qualified for the 3rd most intense snowfall of the winter. It's effectively ripping out there. I'm down to about 1/4 mile. I think some fog has rolled in under the precipitating clouds thus lowering the visibility even more.
SpartyOn
It's a shame I'm stuck at work ( minus the money part ) but it would be nice to see and watch the lightning data. Reports on Facebook of thunder. But as most of us know allot people think they hear thunder but sometimes it's either a low aircraft or something eles. hawkeye_wx
NAM/GFS kinda busted here with run after run showing ~0.25" qpf. That initial thin band of precip that dropped only about 0.05" liquid(0.3" snow) was pretty much all we got.
Fickle Heights
I see even a couple of CoCoRaHS stations near KLAF had a trace of snow.

SpartyOn
The fog (?) has really aided in these visibility reports. Not taking anything away the +SN but it's most def helping this perpetual whiteout.
dmc76
It's Let up considerably... Still moderate Snow but it was really intense for 4-5 mins. Close to an Inch.

OHweather
Getting some light to occasionally moderate snow here as the precip moves in. Decent sized flakes, probably as big as quarters falling. Not expecting it to stick but it's better than starting out as a cold rain.
SpartyOn
Lol. I don't know how to report a visibility below a 1/4 mile. Maybe an 1/8? Ripping cats and dogs. Cement style snow. Plastering everything it touches.

SpartyOn
8th floor of Beaumont Hospital really gives a nice birds eye view of this plastering. Woodward Ave is completely covered and the last leg of rush hour has been delayed.

It's all melted thus far here...if it can come down harder or maybe cool a few degrees more with dew points still in the upper 20s maybe that will change.
