Huffwx
That area looked like it could do well on all models though. Sweet spot with the mid level lows. Yeah, and it certainly did. We don't get many events like that down here-- so it's hard expecting that to pan out as such. 2.2 in an hour is awesome.

Jebman
I see reports out of the Staunton and Waynesboro area of 8,9,10 inches. I'm dreamin' of all of the precious jebwalkin, all of the digging snow and the rolling around in it at 3am behind privacy fences in the middle of the night when everyone is asleep................ All that precious, precious fresh snow........Roads covered with the stuff.......just CRYIN' to be shoveled......... What REALLY is makin' me cry and needin' about five billion boxes of tissues tho --- Is the thought of an epic jebwalk in deep snow, with snow falling so hard that I can't even see where I am goin' and on my headphones I am blasting the Top 40 hits and all the hip hop I can download onto my 120 gig ipod from iTunes........ this song in particular, by Usher, it reminds me of cold weather and snow this winter is breaking my heart man......it is breakin my heart

Fozz
Will Richmond have more snow than NYC this winter? Congrats guys, keep the pics coming these wet snows look great! They managed that in 2001-02, but that's probably not happening this year. NYC did get a few inches in October, as well as a moderate storm in mid-January. This one storm for Richmond isn't going to cut it.

Logan11
Here in Hillsville I measured 6 inches. Nice steady snow yet. The top few inches is powder snow. I'm here at a Best Western.....ran into a coating of snow just below Statesville, NC on my way up I-77. It was low 70's in Hilton Head at 3 PM. ...I love that contrast. Yes, my mom reports 7-8 in Staunton.
