4th warmest winters on record in Philly

Just did a data run on March 98 (that year had four 80 degree days in the last five days of the month). Through 3/24, March 98 was 1.6 degrees below the OLD (71-00) norms (40.4 vs. 42.0) and was actually rather chilly midmonth (three straight 30 degree highs). The end of month heat wave really did a # on the departures....

Yeah, I remember that month as being rather miserable until the heat wave.

Some of those numbers are crazy. Min of 61? How many times has PHL seen a high min >60F in March? Also a high dwpt of 64F for March is pretty crazy.

Also, I notice you used the old format for WeatherUnderground. That one still is better than the new version.

Yeah, I use the old version for climate data because it's easier to get what I need. The new version is good for their model maps based on how they have the wundermaps laid out.

If they could blend the two together, it would be awesome.
