It's over I think, Sam. I mean look at the flow in Canada. It's constantly from the NW. Sure one shortwave moves about, but another one comes right in, with that flow. In the back of my mind, I'm reminded by previous behavior with these and the tick north in the final 48 hrs, but the flow just doesn't seem that conducive for it..other than a Cape graze.

It's over.

We need the flow to shift north, in addition to that lead shortwave moving out faster. Seems like a lot to overcome.

It would be pretty wild if the downstream ridge development from this storm was able to somehow force the NW flow and confluence northward to the point where the storm could come north a bit. This thing is a juicy El Niñoish latent heat machine coming out of the Gulf of Mexico and it will be driving a large mass field northward in front of it. These types of storms sometimes have more power than the models might suspect.

Although I don't think there will be enough northward adjustment for the bulk of New England, it still bears watching for the south coast of CT, RI, and SE MA as well as the NYC area, especially if the lead wave moves by quicker. As such, these areas could be grazed by some snow.

I was actually glad to be able to use the windshield wipers again. Been nearly 3.5 weeks.

What has this winter come to?

Then two days later we get confluenced to death while DT is making naked snowangels.......then we rain again.

Hey, I hear Mt. Mansfield maybe in for upslope.

Yea, we should create an upslope thread because that is the last thing most want to read about right now.....it's like having a week's worth of texts go unreturned by that smokeshow to took out at last week, only to see her lapdancing some other dude in the corner of the club.

My take is a swift kick in the nuts unless your in one of those favored areas

Yeah, it's just that in this type of flow, I'm just thinking, one of the s/w's has to man up and get that southern vort pregnant. I'm gonna say it's s/w #6 that'll drop down on top of her. That's the one swinging in behind the "vortex lobe" that couldn't get the job done.

Anyway, since no one else would say it, I'm gonna call for 6-12" south of I90.

lol let's see what happens.

Yes its over, call it a day...

sorry that it had to end this way

no reason to pretend,

we knew it had no chance Sunday, up this wayayayay

Guess it's ovah, the snow is gone

no reason to traaaack this one

Somewhere we lost the key

No snow for you or me

And its clear to see, SnowNH-y

Too much too little too late

To snow again on you

Too much too little too late

for coastals that are true

We're in the middle of ending a winter that just blew

Oh its ovah!

Yes its ovah....
