I had been working on my site with my buddy but, he doesn't help anymore. Will only be doing updates on severe, tropical, winter from now on on my FB page look for Hazardous Weather Prediction Center. Also will post on here of course. :) In other news met CarlislePaWx today after all these years. We had a good talk. Also those nadoes out there today are bad. Could be an interesting spring.

Found the Temps for 3pm 3/15/1989. I was not around yet...I was born about 3 weeks later!

But there was an actual March heat wave I remember quite well…These were the 3pm temps from 3/30/1998. Wow:

I remember this heat wave as well, just started my last season of little league baseball and the first practice was like it was the middle of summer. Also in 1998, I remember a certain end of May severe weather outbreak when we were getting ready to start a game and the field got evacuated cuz of a tornado warning.

Tornado went through my hometown...not confirmed but in the main thread seems like at least a weak tornado went through my area just north of Atlanta. Anyway just windy and chilly here...I'm thinking my flights tomorrow will be pretty bumpy even if the severe weather has passed.

Had a friend fly from Raleigh to Dallas yesterday around 7 p.m. and said it wasn't too bad all things considered.

Just got into Philly half an hour ago. When we taxied to the runway I notice the wind sock fully extended, so winds were at least 15kts and not directly parallel with the runway. So it was a very fun ride climbing out of the mountains, with lighter turbulence closer to Philly.

My memory is from work....I used to be a writer/editor for a big health care organization that included an education/training group. One of my jobs was attending these seminars and writing a summery of them, which were posted on our site and sent to attendees.

Well, one of these beautiful 80 degree days fell on a Friday....as did an all-day session on medical coding. If you want something that is eyeballs-roll-to-the-top-of-your-head-omg-wtf boring, it's medical coding.

So, I am sitting up front, and as the afternoon part of the seminar went on, I noticed the presenter would get distracted and get an upset look on her face, sometimes her eyes seemed to be following something in the back of the room. So, we hit the first break at like 3, I turn around..........and 2/3 of the attendees had left. I felt bad for her but lol.

Have a safe rest of your travels!

We should at least see some flakes around this afternoon...gonna be a chilly couple of days.

NWS call of an increase late in snow showers is already starting, note radar. Might even see a squall. And there's some flakes now.

Below normal today and tomorrow....how about that....an island in a sea of mild.

Yeah it looks like we will struggle to reach freezing tomorrow afternoon. I'm hoping it will be the last day that happens, but if it's going to be cold, we may as well get a squall or two out of it today. A few fluffy flakes here over the past 10-15 minutes.

We had a very brief snow squall that temporarily dusted the grass. I think we might get in on this:

Had a nice Sunday afternoon nap and was surprised to wake up to snow on the ground and it is snowing in pretty dominating fashion with a nice squall working through. Areas that have kept a good bit of whatever's fallen look to have over half an inch.

Said on the news there was thundersnow in Johnstown. Looking at cams, there seems to be rough travel on Chickaree Mountain and around the Galleria in Johnstown.

One of my coworkers is coming back from Pittsburgh and is about home. Saw a couple of accidents on Rt 22 west of Altoona. Her husband's driving, she Tweeted that the roads were pretty bad down there.

Looks like one more squall down there and that should do it.

Looks like CTP and PIT put advisories in the southern Laurels. Pretty nice fetch of snow squalls gonna get those areas this evening. Yea, those roads up there can get really wild. Route 22 is always good for a rough ride but I found out a couple Friday's ago how bad 219 can get in Somerset County with an intense snow squall and high cross wind. And then in a couple days it'll be about 60 haha.
