JamieOber
Yeah. Meter ologists are unnecessary. I read my own water, electric and gas meters at home. Not to be a jerk or nuttin' but I hope that guy gets a wall cloud wander toward his house in May.
JamieOber
What da hell is the RUC seeing? It keeps spitting out monsters. Well, the NAM and Euro came north. If I'm our southern people, I wouldn't count out seeing at least a bit of snow.

PottercountyWXobserver
Potter what's up with that snow squall? Looks beasty, the majority of it missed to the south of us. I would think looking at the returns, someone around the Coudersport area is probably picking up about an inch off from it. I only received .2" from the squall. Maybe I only need to head to Harrisonburg after all I don't know, man. 12z GFS is south of 6z and a lot drier in the north. Measurable snow looks to barely makes it to northern Virginia. Itstrainingtime
I think in all honesty the writing was on the wall 48+ hours ago when models like the GGEM were suppressed when typically they have a bias towards being overly amplified. Even when the GFS was all wound up on Wednesday, it was troubling to me to see so many other suppressed solutions.

canderson
Classic tale of two worlds due to the Apps. Here it's grey, gloomy, and 42 degrees. I'm at 51, with only a few thin wispy clouds. I've been our all morning working on baseball fields and am sweaty cause the sun makes it feel much warmer. Hope it clears up for you guys NW of here. paxpatriot
Bad: Probably not going to get any snow out of this storm. Good: Penguins beat the Flyers. Honestly, I'll take it this winter .
EasternUSWX
NAM is so far south it is almost criminal. The models sucked hard core on this event.
canderson
Oh my god, the 0z NAM gives Richmond major warmth issues, kills their snow. Only really SE Virginia gets anything. Mass MA forum suicide insuring I'm certain.

pawatch
Hmmm over 200 hrs out. But it's a nice porn shot for this winter. It will be gone by next week probably
Paweatherguy1
So why is it when we need a 200 mile shift north, it will never happen, but when we don't need a 200 mile shift south, it does? Seems really that on the GFS and NAM, this storm shifted 200 miles south in a 24-36 hour timeframe, and that was a day and a half before the storm.
