Chinook
Does anybody know any web sites where I can get an archived form that shows the same information as the NWS "F6" climate summary? Let's say, for example, I wanted to look up how much rain or snow some city got in some month in 2003. My best guess so far is this NCDC web page http://www7.ncdc.noaa.gov/CDO/cdoselect.cmd?datasetabbv=GSOD&countryabbv=&georegionabbv= but getting the snow information from these lists seems to be pretty difficult. Kevin Shaw
I would suggest this NCDC website, as all the data just went to free access on Monday, February 13, 2012: http://www7.ncdc.noaa.gov/IPS/ From that main menu, just select "Local Climatological Data" then select the state and city you want under each state - and then choose the month and year you want, if it exists. It should - most cities have pretty long records going well back into the 20th century. Hope this helps. Kevin
