How many people can't wait for spring?

  1. 1. Spring / hopelessly attached to snow?

    • Bring on the sun and 50's; frisbees and hacky sacks; hey, maybe even a few thunderstorms!
    • I will hunch over my computer trying to spin a storm modeled at day 10 into a likely blizzard until April 15th

I always have faith. Even though I'm a Yankees fan (my old stomping grounds in lower Fairfield County CT is Yankees country), I will steal from the Red Sox (Sux) 2004 motto "Keep the faith!" I still have hope we can get a nice renegade cutoff low and a blue snow bomb. Heck, I'll even take it on April 15th!

Given our "spring" is a few scattered days in the 60s with tons of 44F and drizzle mixed in with 38F and drizzle...I'll take any threat of snow over that.

I enjoy the warm weather just as much as snow (actually a little more if you're counting :bag: ). So at this point with this winter, bring it on.

My gut is that we will get a good snow in March. Just to kick our butt on the way out. March snow is a little like the last day of vacation. It's nice but not the same as a good January hit followed by a cold wave to keep it around for more than 2 days with more time to follow.

chrisM is also lying.

Uh, out of those two options I'm obviously going to pick sunny 50F weather over sitting on my computer looking at D10 threats. lol

Still...I'll take snow as it comes. I love snow, I love skiing. However, if we get an early Spring and it's 50 and sunny, I'll embrace it with open arms. A month of soft spring bumps/park, followed by nice runs and playing outdoor basketball/other sports? Sign me up. Either way, it's a win win...unless it's a cold rainy spring. Then I'll just study or something *gasp*.

Yeah, I hear ya. It's basically snow>sun and warm>cold and dry>rain and warm>rain and cold. But as soon as there's a threat you will be on here tracking it...without a doubt.
