weathafella
It's not an arctic high, so who cares......you will probably be cold enough. Logan11
LOL ok ...I'll go for it. That's 5" at KGAY I guess relying on your snow measuring expertise. I may have wish to lose my own bet ..if its a east versus west event.... Deal. Loser donates another $20 to the board. Optimism is for cheerleaders. Logan11
Well I only said 5" at Ray's place by 11:59:59 PM on 29 February.... That's not a real high bar. It could be done with a few slop events combined. We might start of Friday with him getting a couple inches of mush then rain for instance. But I do think we could still score a decent event...never say die. LOL How much kool-aid do people need to drink before they realize.....

Deals. 5" by the end of this month imby and 20" by Friday in Mark's. Rick, the fact that Will always includes my seasonal totals in his maps tells you all you need to know regarding the validity of my measurements. Besides, if I were fudging, I'd like to think I'd do a bit better than 15". lol

40/70 Benchmark
Stop being so unintelligent, guys....we must be objective and realize that winters do not have personas and significant October snowfalls have very little correlation to seasonal snowfall. Each of the last 212 fails had a fair chance to produce.
blizzard24
we still have the rest of feb/ march left. I say that at least three snowstorms before march 17 . The world is cold and snowy that is effect that will come to usa . When you think you wont get snowstorms that when you get big ones .
40/70 Benchmark
In all seriousness, hopefully we will enjoy another huge April event of something...you never know...once the wavelengths shorten, I would think that the seasonal deck would have been shuffled. Logan11
Looking at the new GFS, this Thursday night thing wants to reform on the coast or at least occlude and triple point enough for mainly snow. Maybe not a major event, but good for a few inches even in your area probably. As to me, I'll be visiting my 94 year old aunt in FL so I miss it, but I'll keep tabs. CoastalWx
Don't the wavelengths lengthen in warm season? In the transition seasons, the wavelengths do shorten and we are prone to more cutoffs.

ORH_wxman
Euro looks ugly...wet snow to start in the high interior, then over to rain and then maybe back to wet snow at the end.
