I dont see phl coming in with an inch after 7am, bl screwed it for around the city at lower elevs. Its going to be interesting to see what occurs with the norlun. I may drive up to work tonight and make a measurement to see what fell....are these going to be separate events if rd 2 occurs or are we adding on todays event?

took last measurement at the course before i left about n hr ago...the sun was starting to come out so pretty much accum snow was done...looks like 2.7 at mt wayne..took a couple more photos will add later

1.1" here on top of Mt. Lansdale. The sun peeked out around 10:00 this morning. Just cloudy now but most of the snow has melted on the front lawn. Temp 35.3. Looking forward to this evening!

Very interesting spc 4km wrf just in it has a prolong period of moderate to heavy snow even for Philly with the Norlun. Also interesting to note strong instability is spreading east.

Yeah it's pretty amazing. Looks like that extra 20-40 ft for you compared to here gave you 12" for the season vs 11" here. Hopefully we can tack on a little more later.

That mid level vort max swinging through late afternoon is fairly potent, wouldn't be surprised to see a brief period of decent snow rates SW of NYC.

Interesting that the HRRR and WRF show squall line pivoting up through the Delmarva, then another band sliding down from the NW to NNW....kinda muddling together around northern Del/SE PA/S Jersey for a time then the whole thing sliding south...wonder if that would create any extra areas of localized convergence/lift....hey, its a nice afternoon for straw grasping, don't judge

I'd personally separate them. May be one of those cases you ask 10 mets and get 10 different answers.

ok well, if we get this i will be sure to ask what they want...also tell them to update my wayne total, i called it in for 2.7 but they neglected it, not sure they believed the 2.7 or not, got pics to show the measurement
