West Milford Highlander
That looks like a questionable 2.5 - break out the ruler!!! 2.5" here in Villanova, 11" on the season now. We may see another inch later today.
Isotherm
That looks like a questionable 2.5 - break out the ruler!!! Measured before, it probably already melted somewhat with the temp at 34F the past couple hours. Plus we're at 480ft here and someone in Wayne at 500ft measured 2.7". Isotherm
Congrats! Thanks, maybe you guys can get more out of later today. NAM sim radar suggests up to central NJ will see some light/mod snow for a period, probably missing NYC to the SW though.

Think Monmouth on south and west get a heavy band from Norlun later - maybe an inch or 2 with freezing roads - dangerous. Rossi

Guest Pamela
February is traditionally considered the "snow" month for L.I....and through Day 11 this continues to be the case! Measued 0.3" today for a monthly total of 0.4" and a seasonal total of 5.5"! Exciting times indeed! The snow was so good today it melted faster than it could accumulate! Snowshack
Precip seems to be redeveloping around Dover...all that is going to pass to our SE? Wound up with a trace two or three times today, with melt offs in between. At least winter is raging somewhere in our hemisphere...that makes me feel a little better for some reason

I'm wondering if any of that precip in Pennsylvania and near the Trenton area wod work it's way up here. Most likely flurries IMO.

Isotherm
Boy I'm glad I'm in the PHL area the past 24 hrs. Just to rub it in, I'll repost my comment from the other forum.. Wow, feels like Buffalo right now in Villanova. 30F with mod/hvy snow, blowing snow and breezy. Picked up from flurries to SN in 15 minutes. Temp dropped 4 degrees. Quickly sticking to all paved sfcs.
