Thanks, maybe you guys can get more out of later today. NAM sim radar suggests up to central NJ will see some light/mod snow for a period, probably missing NYC to the SW though.

Think Monmouth on south and west get a heavy band from Norlun later - maybe an inch or 2 with freezing roads - dangerous.

February is traditionally considered the "snow" month for L.I....and through Day 11 this continues to be the case! Measued 0.3" today for a monthly total of 0.4" and a seasonal total of 5.5"! Exciting times indeed!

The snow was so good today it melted faster than it could accumulate!

Saw a few flakes flying around the area an hour ago. I'm wondering if any of that precip in Pennsylvania and near the Trenton area wod work it's way up here. Most likely flurries IMO.

maybe someone can explain what is going on with this radar and if this is going to pivot north ?

Boy I'm glad I'm in the PHL area the past 24 hrs. Just to rub it in, I'll repost my comment from the other forum..

Wow, feels like Buffalo right now in Villanova.

30F with mod/hvy snow, blowing snow and breezy. Picked up from flurries to SN in 15 minutes. Temp dropped 4 degrees.

Quickly sticking to all paved sfcs.
