SomeguyfromTakomaPark
I couldn't find the thread to post general obs so here it goes. Just went for a run down to the monument and white house. Snow showers and a brisk NW wind gusting to around 30 mph made for quite the winter feel.

Ian
Now A band of light to moderate snow will affect areas mainly along and just either side of the Potomac between Point of Rocks and the District of Columbia...then further southeast from Oxon Hill to the mouth of the Patuxent. A coating of snow can be expected. Brief heavier accumulation cannot be ruled out along a line from Great Falls to downtown Washington to Brandywine. Temperatures will remain in the upper teens and lower 20s...with northwest winds 15 to 25 mph. Wind chills will be in the single digits.
