WVclimo
The sharp temp drop lagged the squall line by about 2 hours here, but its happening now. Lost 4 degrees in the past 30 minutes, skies have clouded over and a few stray flurries are blowing around. Winds 15 G33 and wind chills now staying in the upper teens. MDstorm
Squall moving through with heavy snow and instant ground coverage. Snow tapering off now, but still steady. Should see more tonight. MDstorm
Fozz
Starting to see dark clouds to the west. I hope this delivers.
Bob Chill
Last few frames of the State College radar shows the start of a drift southward. The RUC/HRRR don't even really get the precip down to south central PA until 7pm or so. I would think a feature like this would survive its trip down through the pa apps. We'll see I guess. At least it looks to pass overhead sometime this evening.

real
It won't stop snowing Downtown DC. Seems to be coming down good, but barely even making the ground wet cause I think wind is drying things up as it falls. About 30 minutes ago, wind was so strong it sent a couple tents from the Occupy camp on K street airborne.
MillzPirate
This is unreal.... Still mod snow.... Squall? Pshh..... If it had been 30 degrees I'd be closing in on an inch already

chris87
18z RR given the cold temps and wind...even a period of light snow would be nice, haven't seen snow blowing around on the roads in a long time.
Jebman
Temps are around freezing - but that ground is so mild - even with that strong north wind - the warm ground still melted that trace. It didn't take long

TUweathermanDD
Band pretty wide heading into Baltimore and looks to be two rounds that span 30ish minutes. The RR and HRRR look nice for tonight, I think some places could get some accumulation.
Ian
18z RR we'll see... honestly a dusting or even 1/4" isnt that exciting to me so maybe a different POV is main deal here. part of it is i have little faith in the short range hi res models especially on light events.
