MN Transplant
We're catching the most pathetic part of the line. Dark here. Getting windy. Fail. I waited 3 days for this Bet the vis never dropped below 5 miles.
southbridgemom
Sweet mericiful goodness! I just hit the enter button on my laptop, looked up, and conditions have changed. Now the barometer is falling, the temp went down a whole .9 degrees, and it's dark looking from the northwest. Maybe I'm not such a clueless imbecile about the weather after all. I think the front is comin' thru. We'll see...

Jebman
Its a light graupel snow, whipped by the wind, but the temperature is so mild relative to freezing, that it is melting on contact best chances for accums will be well north and west with elevation this region is too far south and tropical

TUweathermanDD
18z NAM seems to like late tonight on sim radar... 03z has 15 to 20 dbZ returns... but 06z has 25 dbZ returns in DC yeah looks good, precip shield is pretty expansive up there. I like our chances and good ratio potential to be a weenie.

BlizzardNole
All snow now (no graupel) as it winds down, and 33 degrees. About 1/3 inch I'd say. It was 34.1F at the start of the squall and is now 27.8F as it is finishing. Edited to add: the squall dropped 0.3".
