I dont see that happening...do you?....look where the squall line is now?...that's like 1.5 to 2.5 hours away?

5 would be a big stretch it seems. I'm not sure it's only 2 hours off from here tho.

* TIMING...TONIGHT. THE HIGHEST GUSTS ARE LIKELY THIS EVENING.

* WINDS...NORTHWEST 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 50 MPH.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WIND ADVISORY MEANS THAT WINDS OF 35 MPH ARE EXPECTED. WINDS

THIS STRONG CAN MAKE DRIVING DIFFICULT...ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH

PROFILE VEHICLES. USE EXTRA CAUTION.

temps are pretty mild... might just be fun to watch here at least.

They are mild, for sure. I have gained a new mental definition of a warm BL here. However, I can hardly remember a disappointing squall situation. Brief heavy snow with visibility well under a mile usually brings a smile to my face and a weenie rush to the soul. The cold temps aloft being advected combined with the heavy echos will have no problem making it all snow here likely. Haven't heard much of a mention of SG though but it is usually big ol' fat dendrites in squall/windex events. Can't look myself, BUFKIT ports are blocked by my university.

I just expect a half hour of mod-hvy with likely potential to accumulate on grassy surfaces.

Yeah it should be good. We don't get them that often here. I remember one I think in 07 after dark that pummeled us with 1" pretty quick.. Hence wanting it to come closer to sunset.
